Adolescent Only Eating Disorder Treatment

Veritas Collaborative is a hospital and treatment center for adolescents ages 6-17. They provide treatment for eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. They offer treatment for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder (OSFED), Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) as well as associated mental health disorders.

A Holstic Program

The center is passionate about treating children holistically in addition to providing strong family support throughout treatment. Individuals are treated with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and family therapy. Multi-family groups are offered every weekend. The center also provides medical, dietetic, and psychoeducation for families. During treatment, clients learn take-home skills that will improve their quality of life.

Outpatient Options

Veritas Collaborative offers residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient care (IOP) at its North Carolina facility. Clients can also use telehealth services for partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care. They provide age-appropriate educational support, including an onsite school. They promote a gender-diverse and inclusive environment and are welcoming of LGBT+ and transgender individuals.

Nutritional Education

Clients will experience culinary & nutritional programming led by passionate gourmet chefs and registered dietitians. Expressive art and movement therapy is included in treatment as well as mindfulness activities. Program participants can also enjoy off-site restaurants and therapeutic outings.
