Turning Point Centers Sandy is a dual diagnosis addiction treatment center that offers a full continuum of care including day treatment, residential care, outpatient services, and aftercare alumni options. Turning Point Centers non-12 Step program focuses on holistic, individualized healing. They believe that the best treatment includes a personalized plan that addresses all of the physical, emotional, behavioral, and social aspects of addictions. Their physician-directed treatment includes several hours of group therapy along with 3 individual therapy sessions every week. Evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) are applied. In addition, clients will engage in psychoeducation, life skills training, art therapy, shame resilience, experiential education, and meditation and mindfulness. Clients can also take advantage of the wide range of holistic therapies and recreational activities like ropes course therapy, dry sauna therapy, morning meditative walks, and daily exercise at the gym.
Turning Point Sandy's residential programs include 2 facilities, Mountain View and Bell Canyon. While the majority of the rooms are shared, some private accommodations are available. Housing is equipped with spacious living quarters, modern kitchens, and up-scale furnishings. Gourmet meals are provided by in-house chefs 3 times daily.
