About Talbott Recovery
Talbott Recovery opened its doors in 1989 to serve the greater community of Atlanta, Georgia. They offer a comprehensive range of services that helps treat men and women who are struggling with alcohol and drug addictions and the co-occurring mental health disorders. Treatments that are provided at the main campus include detox and stabilization, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Talbott Recovery creates unique, comprehensive programs for each client through admission assessments. Talbott Recovery offers a specialty program for healthcare professionals, a pilots program, a professionals program, a family program, and a mirror image program. They use evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and individual and group therapy. They also provide assistance in creating an after-care plan that involves support meetings, alumni events, and other alumni groups. Talbott Recovery is accredited by the Joint Commission. They work with most major insurance companies
Talbott Recovery’s main campus has a modern architectural design. Talbott Recovery is separated into 3 phases. First is detox, campus, and mirror image phase. Once detox is complete, clients are transferred to gender-specific shared apartments for 60 days. Lastly the mirror phase is a continued care program that typically lasts 4 and a half weeks. Each apartment has a full kitchen, and clients are responsible for their own meals.
