Elevate Addiction Services

An Elevate Addiction Services center, Sky Lake Recovery is one of their 2 California locations. Sky Lake Recovery Center is located in the beautiful South Lake Tahoe, nestled in the forest and surrounded by pine trees and fresh mountain air. Sky Lake specializes in treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders using a Non-12-Step, holistic approach and can also provide an addiction intervention specialist to help with a loved one. Holistic treatment includes medical detox when needed and drug-free detox, CBT, physical fitness, nutrition, art and music therapies, yoga, breathing exercises, meditation, and body rejuvenation therapy which addresses vitamin and mineral deficiencies.

Clients will complete a 4-phased approach. The first phase focuses on regenerating the body and the psychological and emotional aspects of addiction. Nutrition and exercise is a focus after detox. Phase 2 helps clients dig deeper with the practice of mindfulness, building life skills and learning tools. Phase 3 addresses core negative issues, using holistic therapies to get to the root of the issue. Phase 4 is a comprehensive aftercare program that includes 1-on-1 counseling, follow-up sessions and support groups.

Sky Lake offers lodge-like housing and approximately 70 beds for clients. The peaceful, serene property offers surrounding space for private time during recovery and mindfulness hikes in the mountains. Sky Lake accepts most private insurance.
