Silvermist Recovery

Silvermist Recovery is a residential treatment center for young adults. Silvermist’s environment is very peaceful and encourages reflection and an appreciation of the outdoors. Silvermist will address the complexities of drug addiction, alcohol addiction, as well as underlying traumas, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and co-occurring mental health disorders. They focus on holistic treatment plans that are catered to the individual's needs. Silvermist encourages their clients to participate in the 12-Step program, and they even provide access to transportation to and from meetings. During treatment, clients encounter many different forms of therapy including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), group and individual therapy, meditation, journaling, mindfulness, family therapy, trauma-specific therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and medication-assisted treatment. Treatment at Silvermist is generally 30 days long and can run around $30,000. Silvermist is accredited by CARF. They accept most insurances, however they do encourage clients to call to verify coverage.

Silvermist is nestled on 30 acres in the lush hills of Western Pennsylvania. The accommodations are semi-private and private. The campus is made up of many different buildings, each being very unique. The campus can hold up to 20 clients at a time, and clients can choose from the main residence, the cabin, or the renovated farmhouse barn. Each one of these locations has an open concept with farm-house style decor which creates a homey environment. There is a large barn that houses a fitness center and a yoga studio. On site, they have a large pool, outdoor seating, a home movie theater, equine therapy, and horseback riding.
