After detox, clients can engage in 1-on-1 counseling, 12-Step facilitation, psychoeducation, group therapy, and meditation and mindfulness. An emphasis is placed on relapse prevention counseling and the development of coping skills to deal with everyday life. The last phase of the treatment is after care support. Clients are referred to their local communities to participate in on-going support from NA and AA support groups. Serene Psychology understands that it is crucial to have a dependable after care program. Serene Psychology offers 18 months of aftercare services which include weekly counseling sessions.
