Sandstone Care Boulder blends the structural care of day treatment with sober living homes for women (ages 18-30) struggling with addiction and mental health.
About Sandstone Care Boulder Women's Center
Sandstone Care Boulder understands the need for structure when dealing with substance use and mental health issues, or both. Individualized care gives each woman the tools they uniquely need for recovery. With evidence-based programming that encourages women’s strengths, they’ll experience recovery from substance use disorders and treatment for co-occurring disorders and trauma, if present.
While clients will always have support, Sandstone still believes in minimal restrictions. Recovery is about more than simply abstaining from alcohol, marijuana, or opioid use. It’s also about developing a healthy, sustainable, and independent lifestyle. Sandstone Care helps women attain this by still being able to work, have hobbies, be on technology, and more, all while being in a drug-free environment. Expert clinical care combines with this lifestyle to give women an applicable, realistic first step into recovery.
Sandstone Care’s sober living homes are where women find the support they need to reclaim a positive lifestyle and practice new skills in the real world. Sandstone’s Boulder Sober Living is gender-specific for women ages 18-30. Their homes combine comfort and fun with structure and accountability. Women will receive constant support from a great community, while still having the freedom to be independent. Sandstone’s Sober Living homes are a drug-free structured living environment away from home for women to stay focused on their recovery.

Recovering and reclaiming your life is a beautiful process within itself. However, being a part of a supporting and loving community of individuals striving for similar goals, can make the journey easier and more rewarding. Our Boulder center strives to provide women with a place full of positive individuals working towards similar goals.
Clients in our day treatment program will participate in daily engaging activities including group therapy sessions, individual therapy sessions, family therapy sessions, and attend our academic and vocational component two days a week. Having a routine will allow clients to stay focused on their recovery process while still taking their newly obtained skills into the real world.
Our Day Treatment Program, or Partial Hospitalization Program, is a structured support network in which clients participate while living in sober living accommodations. We offer a thorough curriculum to provide a comprehensive approach focusing not only on recovery but a sustainable healthy lifestyle.
No need for women to leave behind their phones or laptops. Sandstone believes in offering as many freedoms as possible, including regular access to personal devices. Beginning without restrictions best mimics the world outside treatment, and sets women up for a recovery that lasts.
