Renascent

Founded in 1970, Renascent offers evidence-based, trauma-informed care that addresses drug and alcohol addiction and concurrent mental health issues. Over the past 50 years, they’ve helped more than 50,000 people with their leading addiction treatment programs and services. They have 4 addiction treatment centers: 3 in Toronto and 1 in Brooklin, Ontario. Renascent provides support from the detox process through to aftercare. This includes detox, inpatient, IOP, continuing care, and family care. Renascent is able to offer online Telehealth IOP to clients who are not able to make it into the clinic, as well. They offer specialized addiction support programs for individuals, families, and children impacted by drug and alcohol addictions. Renascent’s abstinence-based model combines a 12-Step approach with other clinical and medical best practices. Renascent offers comprehensive mental and physical health assessments upon arrival to ensure a customized treatment plan.

Renascent’s Graham Munro location is a women’s only clinic in downtown Toronto. Female clients only have female counselors. The home is ideally located with updated furnishings, a large kitchen, and semi-private bedrooms. Some of the holistic therapies they offer include mindfulness therapy, art therapy, and nutrition. Alumni meetings for the Graham Munro house occur twice per month.
