About PRC Recovery
PRC Recovery is a dual diagnosis drug and alcohol rehabilitation center for men and women in the beautiful countryside in South Africa. They offer medical detox along with 3 inpatient programs including a 21-day residential program, a 7-week intensive inpatient, and an extended 90-day rehab. Each program is built on the Minnesota model combined with 12-Step recovery, evidence-based therapy, and life coaching. PRC Recovery is there to help you determine which program is right for you.
Using a holistic approach to the mind, body, and spirit, a typical day at PRC Recovery can include morning vitamins with meditation, nutrition, followed by individual, group, and family sessions. Afternoons are filled with 12-Step facilitation, assignments, and art therapy, and the day ends with rest and relaxation activities.
PRC Recovery is located on 5 beautiful acres surrounded by the Drakensberg mountain range. Regular excursions are part of the lifestyle at PRC Recovery, and clients can explore nearby waterfalls and gorgeous hikes. Men and women are housed separately, and each room comes with double beds and clients have 1 other roommate. On site, there is a laundry room, game room, gym, and tv lounge with a fireplace for relaxing in the evenings.
