Pocono Mountain

Pocono Mountain is a recovery center that provides treatment for adults struggling with addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders. They strive to provide a nurturing, structured environment that is rooted in spiritual growth. Pocono Mountain recovery is located in northeastern Pennsylvania. Their treatment approach is based on the 12-Steps and principles of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. The center treats alcohol, amphetamine, benzo, cocaine, fentanyl, GHB, heroin, marijuana abuse, meth, opioid, painkiller, PCP, and prescription drugs. The programs that are offered include detox, residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), sober living, and continuing care. The types of therapy that are used include cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical cognitive behavioral (DBT), experiential therapy, and mindfulness-based (MBCT). Pocono Mountain Recovery Center accepts most major forms of insurance, and they are always willing to partner with new providers.

Pocono Mountain recovery is located on 10 acres of land in the mountains. The facility dining is both tasty and nutritious and provided daily by an executive chef and his team. Their 9,000 square foot building is used for exercise and recreational purposes, as well as meetings and special events. The amenities include BBQ pits, picnic tables, sand volleyball courts, walking trails, and an indoor gymnasium. The accommodations include shared rooms and spacious common areas.
