Located on 21 acres and in The White Mountain, The Plymouth House offers gender separated lodges and a 12-step treatment approach.
About Plymouth House
Plymouth House was founded in 2002 and is a 12-step based residential treatment program for men and women struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. At Plymouth House, clients will learn about and become part of the 12-step community. Clients are required to undergo a detox prior to admittance or provide a clean drug test as proof of sobriety. Clients must commit 2-weeks stay but can extend up to 5 weeks. Mental health support is not provided for those with co-occurring issues, and they do not work with any health care providers. Plymouth House’s schedule for the week includes meditation, goal setting groups, Big Book Study (Bible Study), inventory work, daily 12-step meetings, yoga, exercise, and comprehensive 12-step work. Clients must work on Step 1-7 while attending Plymouth House. The staff is composed of 12-step practitioners and men and women who are in long term recovery.
Plymouth House’s facility includes a non-denominational chapel, modern dining hall, men’s and women's’ lounges, library, laundry facility, vegetable garden, walking paths, yoga studios, and a fitness room. Plymouth House provides 3 healthy and balanced meals from locally grown and sourced ingredients each day by a professional chef. Clients accommodations are gender-specific and are shared, and 2 or 3 clients are in each room.
