Paradigm San Rafael

Paradigm Treatment provides residential mental health services to adolescents and young adults from throughout the United States and abroad. The San Francisco facility is one of two locations under the Paradigm umbrella. The other is Paradigm Malibu. Paradigm San Rafeal offers residential treatment for both male and female adolescents.They specialize in treatment for issues ranging from depression to anxiety, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, mood disorders and other mental health and behavioral health issues. At Paradigm San Rafael all treatment plans are individualized and include psychiatric oversight, evidence-based treatment and holistic therapies. Before a program begins, all residents go through an initial intake and assessment to help staff members determine their needs. Although on-site detox and medical stabilization services are not available, those in need can get referrals as necessary. While each program may vary somewhat, all residents can expect full and varied days of treatment. Evidence-based treatment can include individual therapy, CBT and DBT. Additionally, residents can also expect a range of holistic methods as well including art therapy, music therapy and drama therapy. Residents also do daily meditation and exercise, with recreational activities and day trips built in as well.

Their facility is situated on a private estate overlooking the bay, with gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces that overlook the ocean. Spacious, sunlit rooms provide clients with optimal comfort and serenity during their stay. Near the facilities you can find beautiful hiking trails and access to nature. Located minutes from the Bay, a number of outdoor activities such as paddle boarding, surfing and sailing can be found nearby. While on-site clients can enjoy amenities such as, massage, acupuncture, ping pong, a swimming pool and outdoor lounge.
