Pacific Bay Recovery

Pacific Bay Recovery is a holistic residential treatment center in San Diego, California that specializes in treating drug and alcohol abuse, co-occurring mental health conditions, and chronic pain management. The residential program is 90 days and includes medical detox and intensive outpatient aftercare services. When clients begin the treatment, they undergo an in-depth examination that covers medical, cognitive, neurocognitive, musculoskeletal, and psychological issues. Pacific Bay Recovery then creates a treatment plan that addresses the client's individual needs.

The Pacific Bay Recovery program is truly unique and holistic. They combine evidence-based therapies with physical therapy and holistic alternatives. Pacific Bay states; “The program offers opportunities for the cultivation of life enhancement skills, the development of improved behaviors, and the removal of triggers in order to support long-term addiction-free living. These skills and behaviors are fostered through individual and group therapy sessions, daily physical therapy, yoga, tai-chi, acupuncture, nutritional support, and ongoing outpatient care.” Pacific Bay Recovery’s gym is also a part of its holistic treatment protocol. The gym is staffed with people who are experts in both physical fitness and recovery. They will provide clients with the tools they need to sustain a healthy life in recovery.

Pacific Bay Recovery offers a safe living environment that provides gender-specific homes located in the outskirts of downtown in Mission Hills. Private and semi-private rooms are available along with cozy common areas. Every week, clients receive a grocery allowance of $150 and a staff member to assist them in shopping. On Thursdays, Pacific Bay offers a weekly nutrition class with an on-site chef; family and friends are welcome to attend this event. Clients in the residential program will also have the opportunity to attend a number of recreational activities like going to the movies, the beach, museums, and local community events.

Pacific Bay Recovery is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most private insurance.
