About Options Okanagan Treatment Center
Options Okanagan is a non profit residential treatment center that specializes in personalized alcohol and drug treatment plans along with safe, structured medical detox. Treatment plans are designed to meet the individual's personal needs whether it be residential care or outpatient treatment. Options Okanagan believes firmly in 12-Step foundation and the BioPsychoSocial model of care. Using a holistic approach, clients will receive tailored treatment plans that are unique to the individual and address any co-occurring conditions one may have. Treatment can include individual and group therapy, family therapy, and more. Options Okanagan places high importance on “Social Recovery and Development.” This is about learning new ways to have fun, choosing new friends wisely, and selecting things that are important to the client's life. In addition to treatment, Options Okanagan provides an extensive aftercare program that includes support and counseling from licensed addiction and family therapists. Clients are able to access counsellors anywhere and anytime via Skype, FaceTime Messenger, or Zoom.
Options Okanagan Treatment Center has 2 locations, one in Shuswap, Canada and the other in Kelowna, Canada. The facility Shuswap immerses clients in nature by providing a cabin-like experience surrounded by the beautiful forest. Group meetings are held in a yurt that seems high above the treetops. Also, there is a dry sauna on site and plenty of space to hike or take meditative walks. The Kelowna location provides up-scale accommodations in a quiet residential neighborhood. Clients will enjoy private rooms, a modern kitchen, and spacious living areas.
