Mountainside was founded in 1998 by a group of like-minded friends. They believed that supplementing traditional therapies with holistic wellness practices could vastly improve long-term recovery.

With flexible programing, individual counseling, recovery coaching, and medication-assisted detox (MAT), Mountainside Wilton provides a full continuum of care that addresses the mind, body, and spirit because each client is different. Treatment can include individual and group counseling, 12-Step facilitation, anger management, acupuncture, adventure therapy, expressive therapy, healthy living workshops, therapeutic art and writing, and more. Mountainside believes the greatest asset for long-term recovery is a strong support system. They work closely with the client’s family and create support services to help loved ones understand addiction and the recovery process.

Mountainside has numerous facilities throughout the Northeast. The Wilton, Connecticut location regularly hosts clients from all over Fairfield County and surrounding areas, including New York City and Westchester County. Mountainside is pleased to hold a 3.7 ASAM certification as well as dual accreditation from CARF International and The Joint Commission, making it 1 of just 7 addiction treatment facilities in the country to do so.
