Life Healing Center

Life Healing Center first opened its doors in 1993 and though today is a subsidiary of a recovery conglomerate under Acadia Healthcare. Life Healing Center offers an inpatient retreat for those suffering from emotional trauma, alcohol and drug addiction, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Life Healing Center provides a holistic and individualized approach to treating men and women. The program's typical length of stay is 30 days but can extend up to 90. Life Healing Center facilitates the 12-Step program. Upon arrival at the facility, clients who need detox will participate in the process, and after that they are assigned a primary therapist who develops individualized treatment plans. Life Healing Center has a 6:1 client to therapist ratio. Some of the specific treatments offered are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and group and individualized therapy. Life Healing Center provides addiction counselors around the clock. Life Healing Center is accredited by CARF and accepts most major insurances.

Life Healing Center houses up to 39 clients in renovated, adobe-style bungalows which are spread out on a ranch-like setting. All rooms accommodate 2 clients and are fully furnished with dressers and desks. The food at Life Healing Center focuses on nutrition and creating healthy habits. The chefs can accommodate clients dietary needs or restrictions. Life Healing Center offers equine therapy, yoga, and a meditation walk.
