Lifeskills South Florida offers a full spectrum of care needed to expedite recovery all in one convenient location. Life Skills has extensive experience in treating mood and anxiety disorders as well as internet addiction. Catering to adults ages 18+, Life Skills addresses anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, gaming, and more using evidence-based therapies in a tropical Florida environment. Lifeskills uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), trauma therapy, cognitive remediation therapy, metabolic fitness, to address the root cause of the mental illness. Life skills training and a family support program are also a key component to their program as well as sleep hygiene, nutritious meals, and expressive arts therapy.
Life Skills consists of 2 campuses and a transitional living home. The North Campus offers private, customized care for adults who need intensive stabilization prior to transitioning. The main campus is fully furnished with beach-like decor and offers a peaceful home environment as well as a large outdoor swimming pool. Osceola House is the transition home allowing individuals to step-down to semi-independent living while still attending their outpatient program.
Accredited by CARF, Lifeskills South Florida is a private pay facility that can also work with out-of-network benefits. They do not accept Medicaid or Medicare.
