An IOP program that specializes in addiction and mental health treatment for adolescents ages 12-17.
About Evolve San Diego
Evolve is an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that treats adolescents ages 12-17 struggling with a mental health and/or substance use disorder. The experienced team of licensed, professional clinicians come from a place of empathy, compassion, and understanding. They teach practical tools that address the underlying cause of addiction and help improve relationships with families and peers. Every treatment plan is unique and catered to the needs of each individual. Therapy is holistic and can include traditional talk therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), seeking safety, applied behavioral analysis (ABA), 12-Step support groups, process group therapy, art and music therapy, family counseling, yoga, and much more. Evolve San Diego serves a maxim of 10 teenagers at a time, with a teen-adult ratio of 3:1. Treatment hours are Monday-Thursday 1:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m. and Friday 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Evolve is conveniently located between San Diego and Oceanside, just 10 minutes from the Pacific Ocean and less than 1 mile from the Sorrento Valley Coaster light rail station. The 2-story building offers an airy, colorful design with a comfortable, coastal vibe. On site, there's a large common room for down-time, games, and mindfulness activities. The school room is equipped with computers and printers for school work and therapy assignments. The unique facility is designed to feel inviting unlike a sterile office space, making it more comfortable and relaxing while engaging in treatment.
