About Edgewood Treatment Centre
Edgewood is part of one of the largest networks (EHN or Edgewood Health Network) for adult inpatient and outpatient treatment services in Canada. Edgewood has been helping people understand the complexity behind addictions and traumas for over 25 years. Therapeutic communities are one of Edgewood’s constituents to create connections with people and build a support system for long term sobriety. Edgewood provides detoxification and withdrawal management, 24/7 medical care and nursing support, psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectic behavioral therapy, relapse prevention, and extended care. Edgewood believes that children of parents with addictions are more likely to develop addictions themselves, which is why Edgewood involves the whole family in it’s treatments. Edgewood strives for excellence which is why they certify every practitioner for CARF accreditation.
