About Design for Change
Design for Change offers a full continuum of care including medical detox, gender-specific residential care, partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient programing. Their tailored therapy takes a holistic approach to recovery, utilizing the 12-Steps and evidence-based approaches that have a long track record of success. In a comfortable and welcoming environment clients will receive personalized treatment that targets both the mind and the body, rather than only dealing with the physical components of addiction. Throughout the program, clients will partake in individual counseling, group therapy sessions, 12-Step and optional non 12-Step, art and music therapy, nutritional counseling, acupuncture and more. Physical fitness is an important aspect to recovery and clients in the holistic program will attend a nearby gym 3 days a week, offering numerous classes in yoga, dance, and personal trailing. Design for Change also offers a First Responders Program that is geared toward the specific needs of individuals in a demanding career, with a focus on healing underlining trauma.
