Clearview

Located near the sunny Venice Beach, Clearview Treatment Center has expertise to help those struggling with substance abuse, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and dual diagnoses. They offer a variety of different programs, including addiction residential treatment, womens BPD residential treatment, outpatient treatment, and a DBT day treatment program. Clearview specializes in dialectical behavioral treatment (DBT), a skills-based therapy, to help treat their clients. In addition to DBT, they offer cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing (MI), Seeking Safety for trauma, and mindfulness. Also, their women's BPD program is one of the only in the country.

Since 2000, Clearview has been dedicated to helping their clients restore balance in their lives, and they do so with help from Yale University faculty. Faculty experts from the Department of Psychiatry are collaborating with Clearview to assess the effectiveness of their methods and train Clearview’s staff. They offer a strong alumni support program that meets monthly, as well. The 2 residential homes have spacious, updated rooms with outdoor space to enjoy the California heat. Clearview is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts many private PPO insurance plans.
