About Paradise Valley Healing Center
Paradise Valley Healing Center sits on 10 beautiful acres near the Cheakamus River just an hour north of Vancouver, B.C. Formerly known as Chopra Addiction and Wellness Center, Paradise Valley addresses a broad range of addictive behaviors like depression, anxiety and psychological trauma using a holistic approach. They offer 2,4, and 6 week wellness programs that address the whole body, mind, and spirit mixing the most cutting-edge current Western medicine with Eastern healing arts. Individual counseling and group therapy are used to do deep work. Yoga, meditation, massage therapy, acupuncture, and vegetarian cuisine are among the Ayurvedic services available to guests. Clients enjoy a high degree of personal care and attention with a maximum of 14 guests. Paradise Valley urges family members to take part in the healing and recovery process.
The Paradise Valley setting is equally as important as the holistic treatment they provide. The peace and tranquility of the nearby river and mountains is conducive to the therapy offered. The cozy home has gender-specific accommodations and each guest shares a bedroom that is furnished with a queen size bed and dresser. Common areas of the house include a lounge with a fireplace and a large living room. With a strong emphasis on wellness, Paradise Valley Healing Center offers a true holistic program that is surrounded by beautiful nature, making it easier to take the time to focus on inner healing.
