As a top regional provider in Colorado, CeDAR specializes in providing comprehensive addiction care for adults and professionals.
About CeDAR
CeDAR Recovery is part of the University of Colorado Health (UCHealth). Since its establishment in 2005, the center has grown to rank among the top regional providers of co-occurring mental health and substance use treatment. CeDAR was also ranked Colorado’s #1 Addiction Treatment Center by Newsweek in 2021 based on their caliber of quality of service, follow-up care, and accommodations.
CeDAR specializes in providing comprehensive care for adults and professionals. They provide medical detox, residential care, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient programing (IOP). Their residential program lasts 30 days, after which IOP begins and lasts 60-90 days, ensuring long-term recovery. Given that CeDAR is a part of the University of Colorado Hospital, this treatment facility primarily emphasizes evidence-based practices. A skilled team provides a variety of interventions, such as medication-assisted therapies (MAT), action and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), EMDR, motivational interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based strategies, such as mindfulness-based relapse prevention (MBRP).
CeDAR Recovery does not compromise on comfort for their patients. Their large campus houses men and women in separate buildings, where each shares a room with one other roommate. CeDAR's accommodations are cozy, warm, and welcoming. Each cottage is staffed around the clock for guidance and safety. CeDAR has a dining hall, spiritual center, and fitness center.
CeDAR Recovery is accredited by the Joint Commission. To remove financial obstacles that might prevent some patients from receiving the critical care they need, they are constantly entering into contracts with various insurance providers. CeDAR also sets up various financing options for those in need.
