The Canyon Crossing is a women-only facility that focuses on restoration using the twelve step treatment model.
About Canyon Crossing
Canyon Crossing is a program that caters to the specific needs of women who are dealing with drug and alcohol addictions as well as co-occurring mental health issues. Canyon Crossing believes that offering women the opportunity to address gender-specific challenges and create a support network with others who are struggling optimizes treatment outcomes. Canyon Crossing takes a more collaborative and less isolated attitude. Canyon Crossing is a transitional living and outpatient treatment home. They can accommodate all stages of addiction and recovery from women who are coming out of detox to those who are just leaving a 30 day program. Canyon Crossing has a unique therapeutic approach to the recovery process, and they provide clinical care and health in a structured environment. Their therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), group and individual therapy, psychoeducation, and trauma-focused therapy. Their approach is to treat the whole person using a mix of evidence-based holistic, and spiritual therapies with 12-step facilitation. Canyon Crossing is accredited by the Joint Commission and can determine insurance eligibility and other payment options.
Canyon Crossing Recovery has a beautiful property that has private and semi-private accommodations. This women’s only residential home has access to hiking, wooded trails, and beautiful Arizona mountain views. This 2 story single family home has an open kitchen concept and large spacious common areas, including a separate area for group or individual therapy sessions.
