About BlueCrest Recovery Center
BlueCrest Recovery Center is located near New York City and offers intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and outpatient therapies. BlueCrest believes that addressing substance misuse and co-occurring disorders requires healing of the mind, body, and soul. Evidence-based therapies are combined with the 12-Step concept in their approach. BlueCrest educates clients about 12-Step programs and asks them to build a support network by attending and participating in local groups and meetings.
The PHP program is their most intensive program, meeting 5 days per week. A few of the many treatment modalities offered in PHP include group therapy, didactic sessions, 12-Step education groups,1-on-1 counseling, meditation, and yoga. Clients in the IOP program will meet 3 to 5 days per week for 3 hours per day, depending on the level of care needed. A client who is appropriate for their IOP program generally has strong external support from family and has engaged in all the requirements that incorporate a 12-Step program. Both programs incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), art therapy, music therapy, and motivational interviewing (MI). In addition BlueCrest places an importance on involving a client’s support system in treatment. In the early phases of their rehabilitation, clients begin to create a crucial component of their support network by routinely engaging with family members.
The BlueCrest Recovery Center is conveniently located just outside of New York City and is accredited by the Joint Commission and CARF.
