As clients progress so does individualized care. The extended care goal is to begin employment by day while continuing therapy sessions in the evenings. A typical day at Avenues Recovery includes 3 group sessions and a variety of recreational activities. Group therapy may also include discussions on a wide range of topics including art therapy, role playing, music therapy, educational seminars, fitness activities, and 12-step discussions. All residential and IOP clients take part in yoga and meditation sessions, and spiritual sessions are available.
